Enhanced National Immunisation Program vaccine safety data now available

AusVaxSafety has unveiled a new-look data display that offers comprehensive vaccine safety information about vaccines given at each schedule point on the National Immunisation Program (NIP). 

For each NIP schedule point, the new displays include data on: 

• common adverse events reported in the days following vaccination and related medical attendance rates
• the impact of vaccination on daily activities 
• respondent demographics, including the percentage of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander respondents. 
• A comparison of vaccines administered with and without additional vaccines at each schedule point has also been added.

AusVaxSafety data are updated regularly and are an effective tool when consulting patients on what they or their children can expect in the days following vaccination.
